Help me beat Ryo in NFS: ProStreet

ok, i'm ready to smash the fucking remote against the wall. i have prostreet for PS3 and am stuck at the Ryo challenge. i simply can't beat the fucker at drifting. i believe the track is somewhere in japan or some other asian country (it's some kind of docks).

my drifting car is a Z4 M coupe. i put all available upgrades on it. no matter what i do i can only get around 2500 - 3000 points, max. i had no problems getting up to 4,500 points in other drifting tracks, just on this one i keep getting REALLY low scores. wtf?!?

anyway, if anyone has good tips on what to do to get more than 3,000 points at that track, i'm all ears!

get a jap car to drift, an RX 7 works, thatll do it.

Beat the drift King - use his/her? car.

Dude, just keep trying. I beat him in my Z4 M so its not impossible. But really, if you cant do it, just try a different car.

Jap cars get more points drifting, ive got a z4m drift car for fun too but an rx7 owns it every time.

can i buy and change cars in the middle of an event? i don't think i can, but i may be wrong. i don't feel like starting from the beginning again.

i just don't get howcome i have no problems getting 4,000 - 4,500 points on other tracks.

i have been! if i didn't try about 100 times then not at all. that's why i'm getting so frustrated. and you can't advance unless you win so it sucks.

Ryo is in sections, you will have to redo the drifting but you need to change cars
