Philadelphia/NJ area shops for spring installation?

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a shop in the Philadelphia area for installing a set of H&R Springs? I got quotes from AWE tuning and Autobahn MotorSports (both near Horsham, PA), for close to $1000-1200!!! for installation and alignment?!?!

Thanks for any info...

Check with ACM, Fair Lawn, NJ. Great team and nice folks to work with, and they take good care of you and your car.

Don't mess around, get it done right the first time. ACM IS DA BEST, don't forget to dial it in with a good alignment afterwards. Ask for Tom and Lalit.

You have professional shops with technicians with years of experience, top notch clean facilities, and state of the art equipment. Those shops are going to charged based on knowledge, experience, benefits and value, and cost of doing business. Then you have less experience guys, usually hobbyists turned shop owners or professional technicians with less overhead. Usually their facility is not as nice and do not use the "proper" equipment and tools. These shops will tend to charge a lower price due to cost of business or lack of knowledge on what to charge to make a profit. In every industry there is a difference in quality and service and auto repairs is not something you can quickly commoditize due to the huge variance in workmanship. Also something to think about is the most expensive job is the one that has be done twice due to poor workmanship. It will cost you in time, money and frustration. Just some things to think about. Good luck!
