Suspension in the City

Hey guys - new owner of F80 based out of Manhattan.

Curious what set-up people are running for DD cars that get a lot of city / pothole exposure.

Think the HR sport springs look great but worried they may be too harsh for a family car. Ultimately I want to get rid of the front wheel gap, but not necessarily ride quality.

Would love to hear thoughts from people that have daily pleasure of driving down our wonderful roads in the winter.

I'm in the Bronx and run Swift spec R perfect drop IMO so far no problem with potholes. Just installed a M performance front lip so I might run into some trouble now lol. Def recommend those though over the H&R sports

Thanks - not as familiar with the swift spec r. Do they have a similar ride height? Any feedback on comfort level more broadly ?

This might not help you but I'm on the passive suspension and the car hits hard. Might go to coilovers for the adjustability.

I have eibach springs now with adaptive suspension and I really like the ride now, had coilovers before, handled well in the potholes but ride was firm and very low for my taste even at the highest settings
