ringwood, west milford, sterling forest, harriman/bear mountain (better to go to very early in the am or weekday as there aren't a lot of hikers or cars out)

I came up with a nice ~65 mile loop(if your familiar with northwest bergen county) - up skyline drive right onto greenwood lake turnpike right onto sloatsburg road left onto long meadow rd, right onto 17A turns into kanawauke rd (this road is thru harriman state park) and then right onto seven lakes drive back to 87/287. I've done that a few times early sunday or saturday and it's good fun, no cars or people out so you can safely open it up

Harriman/bear mntn is awesome, I try to ride my motorcycle out there at least 3 or 4 times a season...so many twisties I can imagine it would be fun in the M.

I would suggest Route 9W north of West Point. Goes up and then down right along the Hudson River. Lots of twists and turns. Best to go early before cars, buses and hikers get out. Did it last weekend and had a great time.

Would also suggest the Palisades Parkway between the GWB and Bear Mountain. Just be careful. That road is full of cops and the speed limit is a ridiculous 50 MPH.
