Help black sapphire

I am thinking of going a gloss black rims with red calipers on black sapphire car?

1) does any one have a similar combation so I can see how it looks?

2) thoughts, is that to much black and not enough contrast?

Black sapphire is a great choice, black alloys on a black car doesn't really do it for me. I like a bit of contrast between alloys and paintwork. But as previous reply if you like it just do it. It's your car after all

I love the black on black. I think it's to much contrast when you do the chrome wheels.

It was hard to find but I found a dealer that had a similar combo to mine. Black with the black wheels.

Black on black is played out, I think. Whenever I see it I think it looks cheap. Contrast is nice.

Personal preference--not a look I like, especially on a high end car.

It was great in the 80s on AMG MB's--all the Miami Vice villains drove cars with that look. It worked well for Pontiac in the 90s.

My opinion: it depends. Don't care for very black wheels on any car. BUT...lighter shade dark wheels (if that makes sense), look OK. Like so:

I got the matte at first because I wanted a bit of contrast from the paint. And then soon after I started getting other matte black accents to go along with it.

My wheels aren't gloss black but they're dark and I have red calipers:

Personally, I hate gloss black wheels. I don't even like how dark my wheels are now. But I got a good price on them, so....

Black on black cars just tend to look sort of thuggy, taking the masculine look a step too far, so I'm not ever feeling it. Looks like something that belongs on a Charger or Challenger.
