Loose side skirt
I noticed the right side skirt was sticking out at the rear of the car. I tried to push it back in, but it didn't do anything.
Here's what it should look like on the left side of the car. How should I fix this? Is this a common problem among F30s? Last edited by lordg; 05-20-2016 at 03:04 AM.. |

may need a new mounting bracket
i noticed one side skirt sticking out a tiny bit in the same area as yours i pushed it back in by hand it was no longer sticking out but it was definitely a little loose compared to the other side my car is brand new so i took it to the dealer and a new mounting bracket was ordered for me and installed

Looks like it took a bit of a knock which might explain why the bracket is gone.

If the bracket cracks the side skirt hangs like that. I had a similar problem with the e46 rear bumper. It looks like part 7 rocker mount support but I'd remove the rocker first to check. It may not be the only part that's busted. Last edited by casualDIYer; 08-03-2016 at 05:11 PM.. |
