M240i announced with more torque than the M2!
240i rated at 369 ft-lbs vs M2 at 343. I know that the M2 will handle better because of the suspension mods. But disappointing for BMW to put more torque into their non-flagship 2 series. Really be bumming of for 2017 they swap out the N55 for a higher torque version M2.

Time to sell my M2. I wonder how many people stalking their M2 allocations will not bother at this point with this new info.

Clearly the car is a 100% win considering g the glowing reviews and professionals preferring it to a 75-80k car...
Maybe you just expected the M2 to be something it's not meant to be? Literally could not be happier with mine. This 240i talk has no effect on me.

They are not going to make the m2 out of date before anyone has even received a non hea car. I'm sure you can get someone to buy yours and get the 991 you want. I've read a decent amount of your posts and feel you would be happier in the 911 even before this was announced
