Lightbulb When will they announce the MY2017 328/330?

My lease on a 13 328 is up in July and I'm anxious to put an order in. The thing is that I don't want to order a 16 and see the 330 announced a week later.

The 16 LCI seems to be a huge improvement from the 13 but I really would want to go with a 330 if it gets rebadged - which seems likely.

Plus I read that thread about the huge inventory bow has right now and it sounds like residuals suck at the moment. I always need to order my car since I live in pa where they only stock x drives.

What do you all think?

The F30 sedan also gets the new 4 cylinder engine and iDrive 5.0

The 2017 3 series sedan/GT/Touring will be the first BMW's with Apple CarPlay integration. It becomes available in September of this year. July and August builds will be eligible for a free retrofit.

I have order guides and bulletins if anyone is interested.
Could you pm me the 2017 MY F30 guide. I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I don't think the Canadian order guide will be of much use to you guys in the US. It's different here than it is there.

Yes, this is the first I've heard of it.

Nothing has officially been released by BMW North America (USA). However, BMW Canada has released information about the Smartphone Connectivity Package to dealerships.

I'm in the exact same boat as you (MY13 that's up in July). I'm going to have my current vehicle lease appraised this week and likely going to order a MY16. The jump from a MY13 Pre-LCI 328 to a MY2016 LCI 328 will be a lot bigger than a MY2016 LCI 328 to a MY2017 LCI 330. If it was the 335 (N55) vs. the 340 (B58) I may have a different opinion, but the 328 (N20/N26) vs 330 (B48) is 10HP. Other than that, it's just updated iDrive in terms of "major" improvements/changes.

Also don't forget that production on MY2017's won't start until July, meaning it will take until at least mid-late August before this would hit your state-side dealership for your pickup. You'd have to extend your current lease, if an option, or be car-less for a bit. Incentives on a MY2016's that take delivery in June/July will be a LOT better than MY2017's, so your lease payment will also be less.

I would always order a car so you're not stuck with options or configurations you don't totally approve of, but be weary that order allocations for MY2016's are going to dry up very soon as production ceases in July. Residuals also aren't bad, I think it's 1% less at the moment as compared to when I picked up my MY2013 3 years ago.

Thanks - you make a good point. I am already of thinking of optioning up a 28 pretty heavily and id rather have the track package than an updated idrive.

Does anyone know where to find a MY16 Order guide on here?

I'm going to see my CA on Saturday and want to build it up before talking to him.
