I have had the awesome opportunity to backpack the Eastern Australian Coast from the months of May(23) to mid August. I'm flying into Brisbane first and then I will make my way down to Gold Coast, Sydney, and finally ending in Melbourne. Before I left on this trip I wanted to ask if there are any big car events in those areas during this time of the year. If so, when and where are they held? Also if anyone is nice enough to, I'd love to meet a fellow 2er owner or Bimmer driver if possible. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

That is one viewpoint. Just not one I agree with. It is the highest profile, yes.

In my view the Australian GT Series is streets ahead of anything else. V8 taxis leaves me snoozing for the most part, great drivers, I just don't like the category make up.

Agree. wish this had a bit more coverage, more people drive the car brands in this series, even if just mum doing the school run in X5 or Q7, but it seems they only think bogans would be interested in motor sports here

I'm in Brisbane and in between contracts at the moment so could have capacity to welcome a fellow traveler / Bimmer driver. Can't promise anything as a job could start any day now (fingers crossed). PM your email if you wanna get in touch.

I live pretty central to Brisbane so even just going for a beer is an option.

Hahaha I just read what I had replied and I meant to say Brisbane! Yeah from what a lot have told me they say that Melbourne tends to be a very different place from anywhere else in Straya. Lol
