Anyone else have this? 2015 335 - Turn car on, only one foglight comes on. If I press the foglight button then both turn on. Press it again, sometimes they both turn off, sometimes one turns off. This only happens maybe twice a week.

Fog lights are turning lamps too. Is your wheel turned? They also come on in reverse.

I notice it when pulling out of the garage but I just went to the store and pulled forward through the lot and only one was on

Well--this has to be a cornering light issue. Fog lights don't say on after the car is shut off. You have to press the fog light button every time you start the car up to turn them on. You must have your steering wheel cut at an angle sharp enough to activate the cornering lights. Switch your headlight switch from Auto to On; cornering lights only function in Auto--if it stops, its definitely the cornering lights.

Sorry when I said "shut it off" I meant the fog button not the car. They don't stay on when the car is off.

Turn car on, one fog turns on. Press fog button, both turn on, press fog button again one shuts off. Doesn't matter if I'm backing up or turning it's completely random

I'll try not using auto for a few days and see if that stops it

So sitting in traffic this morning and looking at the reflection of my car in the car in front of me, with the headlights on auto only the drivers fog light is on. When I turn the headlights to "off" they both go off. Back to auto, only the drivers fog turns on.

Was your turn signal on? If so it was the cornering lamp.

Well--if you didn't have your turn signal on, then something's definitely wrong, because the fog lights aren't supposed to automatically come on in Auto; you have to manually turn on the fog light button each and every time the lights come on. Let us know what the dealer says.

So the fogs turn too if they're on? It's just weird one is on and the other off completely.

Unfortunately couldnt spec the car, only manual tranny I could find in the country with Msport

Yep. When making a turn with headlights on the one fog light will come on to act as a turning lamp.

I never knew that. Still doesnt explain why sitting at a traffic light I can see one fog on and one off in the reflection in front of me.

If your turn signal was on or your steering when was slightly turned that might have prompted it to come on.

That's still dumb that only one turns on. Makes it look like the other is broke (on a brand new $50k plus car). I can guarantee my wheel was straight sitting at a stop light and one light was on. I press the fog button, both turn on, press again only one turns off. Can this be disabled?

I didn't think they swiveled--just turned on when the turn signal is activated, or the wheel is turned more than a certain amount.

Yes--this only when in Auto; if you put the headlights in "ON" it will not do this. But then you lose the swiveling of the headlights. Or, you could just activate your fogs every time you turn on your headlights.

Nope. Sitting at a stop light going straight. It appears this can be coded out or I can turn auto off or keep my fogs on all the time

I think I'm just going to upgrade the bulbs to a brighter white and leave them turned on all the time. Still think its dumb to have one bulb turn on!
