The mirror still moves from the buttons inside the car, but it's barely hanging on.

It looks like just the base is detached. Before I get an estimate, does anyone know if I can fix this myself possibly?

You need to remove the inner panel on the door, to find the mirror bolts.

But it's an easy DIY, 45 min job.

Actually, most of the stuff that is in the Bentley service manual is verbatim from the ISTA+.

The warranty doesn't cover your mishaps. Depending on your deductible, you can make an insurance claim.

If that's all its going to take to fix it, I wouldn't even worry about doing an insurance claim and just pay out of pocket. Not worth the hassle of the higher premium
