They are around, but they don't often post in "normal" threads.

They're active on Bimmerfest and some of them participate in the forums pretty regularly. One of the more active members here is a mod on Bimmerfest and is active there, too.

What's the "official" relationship between the two forums... if there is one? I check both religiously and recently duplicated a post in both. How do they compare, are they simply analogues started by different folks?

I'm not aware of any official or formalized relationship between bimmerpost and bimmerfest.

The mods are here albeit with varying degrees of involvement and jurisdiction. For best result, please message all listed moderators for any pertinent issues/concerns/questions. We all have the best interest of this community in making this forum a happy and progressive site.

The reason why I asked about moderators' presence: in the recent, moderators were very active in moving posts to the correct forum, making Bimmerpost more organized (easier to find topics, etc.). This seems to be not the case anymore.
