Anybody interested in M2 for list price in UK?

Hi All,

I just bought and M4 from my local dealership and the sales person called for a follow up. During our conversation we talked about an M2 they have with the following spec: -

Long Beach Blue
DCT
Harmon Karden
Visibility Pack
Sun Protection Pack
Exterior Mirrors Folding
Comfort Access
Reverse Assist camera
Elec Front Seats
Heated Seats
Folding Mirrors

Service Plan Inclusive 5 years

In addition to this it has carbon fibre diffuser, front splitter and mirror caps and the MPerformance exhaust.

They're asking for £56,365 on the road. This is not a pre-registered vehicle so whoever buys will be the first owner and it has delivery mileage only.

If anybody is interested then please call 01704 503800 and ask for Darran, their M specialist.

Cheers,

CH.

Okay, so I priced up myself online and only got it to £47k so I called him and asked for more details and have edited my original post accordingly.

If interested please ensure you ask for Darran.

Cheers,

CH.

If you're interested in the car then it's probably best to speak with Darran directly and I'm sure he will explain the costs.
Cheers,

CH.

It also has M-performance exhaust system.
Not sure what this normally cost - around 3k as a dealer fit option?

This is basically a demo car but I think a lot of dealers are now flogging them given that there unable to give potential customers an ETA of when they'd actually receive a car if they were interested in buying one.

This is not a demo car. The customer who ordered it bailed out of the deal.

Thats what you may have been told but Darren has informed me otherwise. The MD of the dealer has suggested the car be sold as they have no allocation or anticipated allocation hence its pointless having a demo (makes sense). It also explains why the car is fully loaded with practically every option including exhaust and carbon kit (dealer fit).

Cant believe my first post in the M2 section is a semi rant

That looks like a Demo, same spec as all the other dealerships that have Demo cars...

I am on waiting list with my local dealer, quoted Q1 17,really seriously thinking of getting my grand back as I don't agree with this practice, I have been offered four cars so far for immediate delivery (different dealers, ), all over list price, I find it disturbing and total B*** S**T that they are not getting offered to the next person on that dealers so called waiting Lists, shouldn't be allowed to happen imo,
and I haven't taken cos I want manual and will not pay over list.

and don't get me started about all the BS dealers give about one's order being logged and approved with BMW UK as to stop the speculators.... as a guess there have probably only been 30 ( maybe more but I doubt it)or so physical cars delivered to the UK so far, and over 3/4 of those are either up for sale with independent traders or still available to buy even if you are not on the waiting list.
