Ok so it's not that bad but still some jackass hit my car while it was parked is it really that hard to park or pull out of a parking spot?

Rear passenger door its all scratched up but most of it will buff out but one spot the paint is chipped

Your dealer's touch up guy can probably fix that pretty easily.

Yes it is hard for people to properly deal with the challenges that come with using a parking lot. I had my front bumper scraped, thankfully that buffed out.

When I'm in a parking lot with small spaces or a car parked unusual in the adjoining space, I'll either note the license or snap a picture when I park. Generally just try to park in space/area that appears safer (but don't go out of my way to park away from everyone).

Ie, bad to park around cart returns or downhill from one.

Yeah I'm pretty sure this happened in the parking garage that I park in at work unfortunately when I get there no one is parked next to me, I get there pretty early amd when I leave everyone is gone before me.
Totally agree with the shopping cart thing I actually do go out of my way to park away from people so much so that my boyfriend gets mad that we have to walk hella far

I have some weird swirl mark on my passenger side fender area.

I don't know what caused it... I think someone may have rubbed their car on mine?? But how can you even hit the car all the way up there and not cause a dent ><

This is my daily driver, my only other vehicle is beater 98 camaro ss but I'm not to fond of driving a manual in rush hour traffic too work everyday

Yes, double parking your precious car will get it keyed, etc. I don't agree with damaging someone's car like that, but it does piss me off when people do that crap because their car is so "special". Just park farther away where less cars are likely to be.

Until now my insurance "add-on" (dealing with damage exactly like this) has more than paid for itself...

Sucks that happened to you, it could have been worse, someone hit my car pretty hard while it was parked as well I don't know how people can be so stupid... This is what my damage looked like a couple of months ago...

My SA gave me the touch up guys number, he's only there on Fridays and I need an appointment. Most likey not going to get it fixed due to work schedule and upcoming vacation just going to live with it for now
