Maybe for sale question

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
I have a 1988 E30 M3 I'm thinking (sigh!) of selling. It is high mileage (239K) but well cared for. Daily driver. Engine strong. Doesn't burn oil. Paint has some chips, crack on spoiler/rear wing. Newish leather seats. Mechanically sound. Does anyone have any idea what my car should sell for?

Gary: No pix, but I guess I could take some. A problem though. My wife walked in and saw my post, and said "OH NO YOU DON'T; YOU'RE GOING TO BE BURIED IN THAT CAR, JUST LIKE THE VIKINGS BURIED THEIR DEAD IN THEIR SHIPS. YOU LOVE THAT CAR!" What does she know? I was thinking of asking $8800. Sort of symmetrical--for an "88 car. I don't know. All I know is I have one too many cars, and one has to go.
