Really nice looking. I'm guessing it will be a $10k premium over an M2. The question is, will it perform like it's $10k better?

That really doesn't do anything for me, in terms of looks. Do love the sound of those engines though, I will admit.

Nice looking but not practical for me as i need usable back seats for the kids, M2 is the perfect all rounder for me, decent size and can still comfortably fit 4 people.

It does that have killer five pot though! When I sat in the RS3 and started it up I nearly pooped myself it sounded so good. Nothing out there like it!

Most sporty normal(...) Audi... BY FAR (this side of an R8 V10 plus)

Lookswise: Getting better, I like the RS5 much more, TT Mk1 15(?) years ago: sissy car. This one: Alright.

Unless something changed recently, no manual = no go for me.

If Audi puts a manual, and it is close to 400hp (as rumors say), AND they actually improve the handling so it is competitive to BMW or Porsche.... then, hhhmmmm...

I never really liked the looks of the TT (vs. Z4, Cayman/Boxster, SLK, etc..etc), but looks can grow on me. I just don't like the whole "avant-garde" style they continue to use with its perfectly symmetrical wheel fenders. I actually like the front though..

But rumors do say Audi is trying a little harder with this one... we shall see.

I wonder with the whole Porsche GT4 craziness/demand, mother VW told her other child (Audi) to step up her game like her sibling. Funny how manuals are "dying," but it seems some companies are now coming back with manuals again!

That front end contains more grille than bumper.

I love the new TT. A yellow TT RS Roadster with a manual would be nuts.

I've always liked the styling. Last TT RS was broadly panned for poor steering feel and droning at highway speeds. Curious what this one will be like.

AWD is important to me, although not a deal breaker.

At least one reviewer LOVED the TTS, calling it perfect:

I was just at the NY auto show and honestly I was blown away by the looks and quality of the TTS. It doesn't perform to the standards I think it should but I'll easily hold on to my m3 to see this ttrs beauty when it comes out

The RS is the one I've got my eye on,but the TFT display is a let down for me as I much prefer an analogue set up.
I took a tts for an extended test drive a few months ago and I've got to say the controls aren't very intuitive but for a 2ltr the performance is pretty sprightly but nothing to set your pants alight. The 2.5ltr with ~ 400bhp should be a serious contender and possibly could be cross shopped with entry level Porsche et al.

If they do upgrade the TFT like as found in the new A4 with a centre console then it could well be on my shopping list..time will tell.

I can't wait to see the RS...

Anybody have an idea what price we are looking at possibly (in the US)?

I absolutely hate how the fenders are executed. Looks so incredibly dated.

I agree. That's my least favorite part of the car easily. That is the one aesthetic change I wish they remedied.

I am still interested in seeing what Audi does with it, but the looks of the TT have always been too out there for me.

I do like the front a lot though....

Going to test drive a TTS tomorrow. Coming from an e92 m3 I wonder if it'll have good enough pull. I'm completely in love with the interior but part of me says wait for the TTRS but that's a year away
