The time has come where I’ve decided to sell my beloved E91 320d Sport Plus Edition. The reason for the sale is that we fancied a newer model and my new car is due to arrive mid March.
Price £12650 The car is fully loaded, but from memory the spec is as follows: 320d- 184 bhp 55400 miles Full BMW service history - serviced 8 weeks ago Black Sapphire Metallic paint 18 inch alloys – all but one in perfect condition – minor kerbing on one. Full black leather interior with blue stitching & matching floor mats Heated front seats Electric front seats with driver memory settings Electric folding door mirrors Adaptive xenon headlights with high beam assist Auto lights & wipers Rear factory tinted windows Professional Navigation (CIC) with build in hard drive (2015 maps recently uploaded), build in DVD player, built in hard drive for music storage Enhanced Bluetooth – music streaming / reads out your text messages etc Two mobiles can be connected as one time BMW Online Services – Requires subscription Brushed silver aluminum trim Rear folding seats, centre folding armrest Front and rear parking sensors with visual radar display on the idrive The car has been lovingly looked after, firstly by my father (the original and first keeper), then by myself. It really has been my pride and joy. The N47 timing chain issue has been addressed and a few grands worth of warranty work replaced everything two years ago so no future problems there! The car drives like new, and has never skipped a beat in 5 years. The leather interior is scuff / crack free and in perfect condition (treated twice a year with Autoglym conditioner). The paint is in good condition as I’ve always detailed the car quite regularly. There is one small mark on the rear bumper where some inconsiderate person pranged my car with a shopping trolley. Its barely noticeable to be fair! I’ve always px-d my cars, but for a change I want to sell this privately to somebody that wants a nice car for a good price, not some over inflated dealer price! The asking price is realistic and if the offer is right i'll even throw in my set of winter wheels and tyres! Any questions drop me a PM and i'll give you my mobile number. thanks for looking. At what milage did you get problems with the timing chain. Very surprised to read this has had to have the warranty work done, especially with it being a 2011 car and only has 49000 on the clock, yet the warranty work was done 2 years ago which seems even stranger, must of only had about 20 odd thousand on the clock at the time.

Happened at 26k.
Had an end of warranty check up at 3 years and the dealer told me that the chain was getting a bit noisy … i'd never have noticed. So it was replaced for free. |

Wow, got me worried about mine now, mines a 2010 with 36k on the clock.
I think 26k is the earliest I've heard of it being done at, at least you have peace of mind now. Good luck with the sale, thats a very nice and well specced car, should sell quite easily. Think it's a pretty fair price as well. |
