Nice side by side ride height comparison. MPerf coil overs giving a great stance.

Looking at these pics really makes me wish BMW kept the designed more in line with the M235i Racing edition.

What we were teased with..

What we got...

I think the boxy flares compliment the 2 series body was more than the softer, rounded flares.

Oh well, maybe one of you M2 guys can do a Racing edition body conversion and blow us all away.

Awesome ride height for the coils. I assume that is the street setting.

I guarantee you, the amount of people bitching that it looks too similar to the M235i would be incredible. I can see it now. "OMFG M235i 2.0 complete fail BMW smh wow"

M235i Racing looks great, as a race car. The actual design elements clash all over the place, and look terrible imo. The tacked on front bulges just completely clash with the design language.

The M2 that we got is a perfect M street car. I actually think the M235i racing looks far less aggressive and is the more bulbous one. The rear flares on that think... yikes. It's like a loaf of bread that's just beginning to rise.

Of course this is just my honest opinion, but feel free to bash me and call me an idiot.

That's the equivalent of adding a Liberty Walk kit to every M3/4 that leaves the factory. Absolutely the fuck not.

Keep the stripes, give me that front lip from the safety car and call it done. Oh and 255/275 tires.

Does anyone else think that the M stripes on the aerodynamifangs would look awesome on other M cars? Say, perhaps an M4?

Maybe on the upper fang thing too, but I don't know.

Maybe?

Also, I literally took the color and design of the M2 fang and flipped it upside down to get it like that. It's almost uncanny how similar the M4 and M2 aerodynamics ended up.

The blue stripe is to let you know the center position of the steering wheel.

We got a better looking car, more unique than the racing M235i with proper wide body not fenders that look like an after thought and stuck with glue.

I can't stress enough how horrible the new "M Performance" letterform logo design is. Fast & Furious Tuner shop.

No sir this looks like a raw alcantara/leather wheel with no shift indicators or any of the tech goodies that the other M-performance wheel has. It's simple and beefy.

Besides, we know when to shift, right?
