Yes it is
You need to set ASP_ABA_AKTIVIERUNG from night_aktiv to aktiv.
You'll find that from FEM_BODY

The 235i, state side at least, does not have fog lights. Fog lights are required for cornering lights.

I have fog lights and I have done the coding for cornering lights, however it doesn't work. I found a retrofit for it: BMW cornering light, part nr. 63132288285.

Can someone who has cornering lights working confirm if they have this hardware module ?

The fogs on my 228 do this but I also have the lighting package with active steering.

I successfully coded the corresponding fog light to activate when turning the steering wheel of my F22. The car has halogen headlights. They only operate when the headlights are on (manually or in Auto mode). The downside is that I could not adjust the headlight beam height with the rotary dial anymore. I made the following changes:

*FEM | 3062 | MAPPING_abbiegel_L_output | nsw_l
*FEM | 3062 | MAPPING_abbiegel_R_output | nsw_r
*FEM | 3066 | KL_ENABLE_LI | KL_Ein
*FEM | 3066 | KL_ENABLE_RE | KL_Ein
*FEM | 3073 | C_BLC_ENA | F20 (choose your vehicle)
*FEM | 3073 | C_CLC_ENA | F20 (choose your vehicle)
