Will all dealers announce allocations in February?

Just wondering when will all dealers know their allocations.

i talked with one dealer yesterday in colorado and they were saying that on friday they will get their official allocation numbers. I don't know if this is true, but maybe you should start checking your SA tomorrow.

Does this applies to US only or Canada as well?

SOP for Canadian M2 is February...

Hopefully this is the correct info and the Canadian dealers will get there M2 February allocation numbers tomorrow.

Yeah allocations for March are coming soon. My dealer on Monday said we should see them within a week.

This maybe a stupid question, but when a dealer say allocations for XXX month does this mean the month it will be built or the month to be delivered?

Usually neither. It means the month they receive allocations from which to place orders.

So my dealer saying we have 5 allocations in April. It is not until April when my order will go in? Hmmmm don't like it but....... Understanding this helps to set expectations.

That's what I'd infer from that. However, many dealerships do not know specifc-model allocation availability in advance unlike yours.
