Finally pulled the trigger

After having met the banned one in person that included a ride in his original 335d I knew it was only a matter of time before the alphabet delete became a reality for my car. There is much information on this forum from bright people who obviously put a lot of time into looking for the extra power and for this I'm grateful. For me the priorities were reasonable power gains with long term reliability. Guided closely by the banned one I ended up with his downpipe, gutted SCR, EGR block off plates from iaknown, BFC mild stage 2 tune by Bob after cbu cleaning.

The final results exceed all of my long awaited expectations including the price tag. The increased power is fun especially knowing there are no more regens or DEF to add. I'm really impressed with how smooth the power comes on and beside better fuel mileage I'm also realizing less minor oil consumption between changes. For anybody on the fence waiting for warranty coverage to end before doing the alphabet delete consider doing it earlier rather then later.

Nice! Can't wait. Once the production exhaust is available I'm going to get one and do it all at once. Have a Bohl DP ready and EGR plates in already. Just gotta figure out a way to get the parts on and drive to Raleigh.

If you don't mind me asking, what made you choose bpc's tune instead of the other popular tune from JR? My warranty is up and I'm deciding between these two myself.

Really for me it was location and the fact that I could have the car on the dyno for before and after.

Right now, yes. I'm all stock except for EGR block.
