Canadian Premier at the Montreal auto show Jan15-24
The M2 will make its Canadian Premier at the Montreal Auto show (jan15-24)
http://www.auto123.com/en/news/2016-...emieres/61666/ Jan 16 update I went to the Auto show tonight. The M2 on display is LBB with 6MT. I must say, the colour and car looked stunning under the lighting conditions. I am glad I chose LBB. The car was locked however I asked if they could unlock it since I already placed my order which they did after few questions. I was very pleased with the interior of the car however I must say I am not sure what to think about the carbon fiber on the dash and in the center console. It had a weird texture and felt really different than the M4 carbon fiber. It's going to be a long wait till early May. Last edited by Hossel19; 01-16-2016 at 12:48 PM.. |

I went to the show on Sunday evening. The car looked just as good in real-life as in the pictures online. I had the privilege of sitting briefly in the car as someone was kind enough to accommodate my request.
The "open-pore" carbon fibre finish is very textured and is a nice change from the usual gloss CF in other cars. I really liked the alcantara door inserts as well. Other than those two elements and a few discrete M logos, the interior looks quite "normal" compared to a regular 2 series. It is not high luxury, but for my own requirements, this is quite nice enough. The main point of this car obviously not the interior. Today I test drove an M235 with automatic transmission so that I could get a brief sample of what the M2 could be like, expecting it to be better than the M235 in all regards. And the M235 was a blast to drive! A few minutes later I was already placing my order (I think the more accurate word would be "pre-order") for the M2. I'm attaching some pics of the M2 I snapped with my phone at the show. Last edited by nikotine30; 01-19-2016 at 06:40 PM.. |

A naked woman could have walked in front of me and I don't think I would have noticed. That's how much my attention was focused on the M2! |
