UK launch 6.2% APR

I noticed that the M2 finance Calc is ip at BMW uk. It's a little hidden in that you need to first pick another car from the options but when in the Calc you can choose M2 in the scroll menu. Residuals look ok, APR high 6.2 usual launch.....no BMW or dealer support

Garage List
2017 BMW M2  [0.00]
Just for the sake of comparison it's 3.1% here in Sweden.

Interesting. I received an official quote of 8.9% last week from my dealer.

I laughed at them...

I've never gone for finance from a dealer, can't believe they charge 6.2% when the base rate is 0.5%! Would only be worth it for me if you could get a decent discount, which you can't of course. Can see why for those leasing, a M4 is probably a better option (financially)

You can get an i8 for 0%, but doesn't mean its appealing. Its something like a £48k final payment after 4 years to keep, so will be one hell of a depreciation hit and one hell of a rental car if you choose not to. The M2 finance plans are about the least appealing in the entire line up. Some of the 3 series look to be the best value, although you're stuck with the car for 4 years unless you want to take another hit swapping. You end up in the position that, either getting a stock car or a reasonable milage second hand example is the best value for money. Let someone else take the initial blow, the M2 isn't going to be an appreciating asset.

Yes its looking likely different to the 1M. Still cant decide if I like the looks or not! Pretty certain to pass on this.

Yeah, if it were a CSL or similar on the other hand id be more inclined to

Otherwise, maybe a lightly used one (if such a thing will exist ) in a couple of years or see what the facelift brings to the table. Its 90% there looks wise, maybe if they just addressed the rear end a bit more and offered more colours it would be spot on. Hope a CSL comes though....without an obnoxious wing on the rear. Im betting if it appears it'll, be just before the LCI M2. So 2-3 years which would do nicely.

Yup same but I'd be all in for the wing. Not a stick on M4 GTS style one but the Vision GT car is perfect looking M2 CSL to me

The LCI of the M2 is coming in just over a year (March 2017).

Hmm. Maybe a special edition would see the run of the current gen M2 out then. A year would seem a bit soon for a csl when the cab will barely be launched in that time frame.
