Can we talk pricing? USA
Just wondering what type of deals people are getting on the X1. When I was looking at the X3 in 2011 I remember the new style was going for around $1500 over invoice? I just would like to know what I can expect to hear from the dealers on this.
Any thoughts are appreciated. I don't need it super loaded, I'm downsizing from a Suburban (and a husband) and need a good deal! THX! I'm in the Cincinnati area. Last edited by Upgrade15; 10-30-2015 at 02:57 PM.. |

I just put a deposit down on it yesterday. First time BMW owner!
I purchased it with Cold Weather Package, Premium Package, and Driver Assistance. Curious as to what others paid; PM me for what I paid. |

I'm very close to making an offer and would also be interested in pricing.
Additionally, I noticed that this particular dealer also charges a $500 "processing fee". Would love to hear how negotiable that is. |

Negotiated price
Hi all, we took delivery of our Mineral Grey metallic xDrive 28i on 11/7, the sticker was $41,695 we negotiated it down to $40,150 we felt like they treated us fairly. We got the second one in the state and couldn't be happier, our previous car was a 2013 Ford Edge limited and although we loved that car this car rocks. Hope this helps. The only bad thing is that my wife won't ever let me drive it .

We just signed yesterday on a nicely equipped 2016 X1 with everything but active cruise, M Sport (doesn't look right to me on the X1), and luxury package (we truly preferred the feel of Sensatec over the Dakota leather, and this is a knock-around beach car for us). We ended up getting about 4% ($1,700 or so) off of MSRP.
I was strongly considering making more of a push for a few extra percentage points off, but in reality these are entry level BMWs without much gravy built into them. Plus, the price is great for what you are getting in my opinion. On a $70,XXX/$80,XXX/$90,XXX car I would've wanted to see more of a discount, but the interactions we had with the CA and sales manager were excellent, and taking their initial offer will serve us well when it comes time to replace my GC. |

The doc fee is sometimes referred to as a processing fee. Anything is open to negotiation, but I've found a lot of the time dealers are less inclined to budge on this. This is a slice of where they make some money, and $500 isn't too bad. It also tends to go by region I've found, so pitting dealers against each other doesn't always work here. Around us its $599, but I've seen it as high as $699 and as low as $150. You can always ask, worst they can do is say it's firm.

Price I paid
Hi all. This is my first post since I just bought my first BMW since my 2001 325i.
I just bought an X1 from Concord (California) BMW this past Friday evening. It's Alpine white with Mocha Dakota leather, Technology, Premium, Cold Weather, Driver Assistance, and Harman Kardon. Suggested Retail = $45,620. I got it for $42,000 + tax + registration. Last edited by REAppraiser; 11-24-2015 at 06:07 PM.. |
