I am so in. But not sure about colours. Need to see them in person I think. Thinking about putting a deposit down if my local dealership will take one.

I am first on the dealer's list in Regina, and am definitely in. Driving an M235i as a daily driver at present, but I am really looking forward to the M2!
Between upgrading my fun car, wife upgrading her '12 X6M to a new one, and then upgrading the M235i to an M2, next spring should be a ton of fun! I think a sub-$60k price point would be a bit optimistic, but fingers crossed!

Driving a beater around for a while, looking to get this sometime next year M3/m4 I feel is too big, its still hot but I find the smaller car more appealing. I wanted the 1M before but this is a great alternative |

Is the deposit that you guys put down refundable? The dealers I have talked to in Vancouver are asking for $1000 refundable deposit, then additional $2000-3000 nonrefundable deposit once the car is in production. Just wondering if that is the same case in other parts of canada?

Hi all, long time lurker first time poster. I've missed out on getting the 1M, definitely going to be putting a deposit once I found out the msrp. I think it should be going for 55-56k CAD?

m3/4 starts at 73-74k so 62-65k for m2 doesn't sound too far off.
also direct conversion from 50k usd already puts it at 66k cad Last edited by johnwoo19; 10-25-2015 at 02:14 AM.. |

dont think its mid 60's UNLESS they stall a long time before announcing price and then jack up the M3/M4 price at the same time imo difference of base M2 has to be over 10K from M3/M4 base

I had a long chat with the sales manager and the GM at my dealer and we were all speculating and no one knows. They were guessing $55-$60,000 base and $75,000 optioned up nicely. That puts it in the ballpark of $15,000 to $20,000 less than a similar M4. They would also be the first to say that it's just a guess until BMW releases pricing. My guess is the car I will buy is $75,000 +/- ... my M4 was $94,000 so it's a big drop in price however you cut it.

I am number one on the list at my dealer. As soon as he gets the ordering info,I will be placing my order.
My best guess has been that a fully loaded M2 will be around $72,000 in Canada, which is basically the same price I paid for my 2005 E46 M3. |

I'm number 3 at my dealer, and praying it comes in under $55K with a sunroof.
Don't need any of the executive packages and other high priced electronic crap... Above that I'm going back to an M235i. |

How soon do you think it will be before we find out a concrete price? Few weeks maybe?
I still cant see the M2 going for more then 56-59k CAD starting price if the rumour of low 50k USD msrp is true. There is only a $1000 difference between cla 45 amg here and south of the border, 3k for the s3, almost identical 2 series pricing etc. M's are a different story though. |

Took this M4 pricing last week at auto show. With an M4 available in US for $65k, not really understanding why some think it will price close to this?
