Video started out nicely ... Im assuming it is couple years old because Steve is not with Dinan any longer.
He talks about how you will not be able to use piggybacks on new BMWs and that Dinan is building their own standalone ECU. I wonder why Dinan changed their plans and decided to go piggyback after all.

By his statements in his video on the Dinantronics it was due to the increasing encryption issues they were encountering and the time it was taking to break it and get product to market for new models.

Maybe i missed it but i did not see him talk about Dinantronics. He talked about a standalone ECU which is a solution to getting past all the encryption
