Here is our Chestnut Bronze X1!

We took my fiancée's new X1 home last night! There are so many great little details that went into the design of it; BMW really did a great job. It's exponentially better than the previous generation in my opinion and is a lot more fun to drive. My daily is an F80 and I found the X1 to be a lot of fun, which I think says a lot for it.

Here are some pictures!

Did you get premium package? I wanted to know if lumbar support in premium package comes with lateral bolster support.

How's the steering wheel. Is wheel rim nicely cushioned or hard? Cushioned like the m-sport steering wheel or hard like regular, non-m 3-series steering wheel?

Thanks in advance.

Car looks really good. Please give us a review on the driving dynamics after a few days. A recent comparison review with the Q3 even mentioned that the testers liked the X1 more than the 340i.

I'd like to see the current X3 compared in detail with the new X1.

i will try to take some pics over the weekend compare my x3 and x1.

X1 interior controls are slightly aim towards the driver, not like X3 interior.
X1 has lighting on dash n door trims like X5.
LED are standard in premium package, xenons are not available which i think its great.

i forgot to mention she did trade in her X3 lol

It's strange that on the USA website, you can get it to show the X1 in the M Sport package, if you choose the 18" M 570 wheels.

Then you get the sport seats, M Sport steering wheel, and exterior aero.

I wonder if it's a glitch.

Thanks, the MSRP on the right side shows the correct price for the M Sport.

I'll actually have to check on the lateral bolster support. I left the seat where she had it when I drove it and didn't take notice of what seat controls there were!

The steering wheel actually is kind of cushioned. It feels really similar to an M Sport steering wheel.

It seems much lighter than on other photos (which is very good )

Congratulations on the purchase. we are also looking to downsize from our F25 X3 to the new X1. Do you have any comments on suspension noise. Haven't yet had a test drive of the X1 myself, but most (if not all) of our local motoring reviews have adversely commented on the amount of noise from the suspension. Appreciate any comment you may have.

That is one beautiful car ! Congratulations ... When I need to change my F30 in a couple of years time, this might be the one...

(Live in Denmark - with 180% tax on cars + 25% VAT on the total sum it's not really an option to buy stuff like this from new... The new X1 starts at USD 96.347 for the Xdrive 25i without a single extra added )

How does the HK audio system compare to your F80 (assuming you have HK in your F80?)?
