Tuned results here

For those with tunes. Please put in before/after dyno results also before after mpg reaults.

There are some claims out there that I feel are pretty wild (7-10% fuel economy???). That seems a bit wild on something like a 328d would go from 45mpg (U.S.) to 48-50mpg hwy. We know Diesels typically outperform EPA numbers in stock form so real before/after results could be rather varied.

The amount of people that tune their diesels is immensely small. The availability of a tune period is minuscule. The people that feel the need to dyno before and after is even smaller. For most the noticeable driveability change satisfies the expectation without putting a number on it.

I don't think you will get a large enough cross section of results from a forum to be able to make any solid finding.

Maybe in the US, but in Europe it is more like the norm to tune a diesel and you will find WAY more tuned diesels than gasolines.

Don't know how much of a help it is but my f20 116d went from 6.5l/100km to around 5.8-5.5 with the racechip for the 2 months i had it installed.
Removed it for the sale of the car and sold the chip in like 2 days straight for more money than i gave for it - i bought it at the racechip warehouse.

I don't know about any E series diesel locally that is not chipped and later custom exhaust + turbo modded and i'm living in a poorer EU country.

Is anyone aware of issues with the ZF transmission exceeding 700Nm in the 335d?

There is a rumour that an uprated transmission may have been fitted that will take 750Nm but I am quite certain I don't have it.

I am looking at the Eco tune remap which takes torque to around 780Nm but have a concern about munching my transmission

Also, has anyone uprated their ZF transmission aftermarket?

My 335d xdrive is running 770Nm without any issue. My transmission is most certainly not an uprated one as build was 12/2013... Hope this helps...

Well not too much help but i drive my 2015 328d like i stole it. with that said my mpg's are not the best. the car was all stock except the 20x11 rear and 20x9or10 fronts. with that i was getting 28mpg. I had computer flashed by mission performance and then i deleted scr, egr, dpf and now im at 33mpg with a lot more hp and fun. most of my driving is city, not much highway.
