Installation is very simple. The original door sills can be removed by lifting from outer corners of the black surround, new door sills snap in.

Each kit will come with several small magnets and adhesive foam tabs. Once the door sill is installed, set a magnet somewhere between the '///M' and 'P' in Performance lettering. It should move and align itself somewhere in the general area once doing so. Slowly close the door until you hear a 'click' which will be the magnet flipping up and attaching itself to the metal underside of your door. Gently open and close the door several times to ensure the magnet triggers the LED on the door sill.

Take one of the foam tabs and once you have removed the adhesive protection film, attach the tab over the magnet and to the door - securing the magnet in place.

Great thanks! Any clue on how long the battery lasts? And exactly what type of battery it takes?

You're very welcome.

It appears to take a slim watch battery. We did not check in specific.

Did you guys have an issue with the batteries making the center of the sill bow upwards? Looks like it is happening in your photos as well

Yes, you are correct it does bow upwards a bit and it is considered normal.

Does anyone know where I can purchase set of BMW M Performance F82 M4 LED Illuminated Door Sills? I have been looking to replace mine due to wear but cant seem to find any online.
