Unhappy No Boost

I have a 2014 F30/N55 and in the last day or so I have no boost and I throw a "low pressure" code as well.

I have a aftermarket intercooler and when ahead and double check the connections from the intercooler on both sides as well as the charge pipe into the engine and all seem well. As far as I can tell no welds have failed on the charge pipe.

Is there a good easy way to check for the boost leak?

Anywhere else i should check for a loose connection?

I know the charge pipes can be an issue on these cars and I wanted to swap it out with the intercooler, but x-drive charge pipes weren't available.

A lot of times you can get loud noise coming from the engine bay if you have a boost leak. Maybe the charge pipe?

Check intercooler connections, charge pipe and lines. You also want to check the boost silenoid

The X-drive Charge pipes are built to order. Be sure to check all your piping. Check the connection points / clamps. Common failure point and check connection at throttle body.

So i checked both sides of the intercooler, put my stock intercooler back in, checked the charge pipe and it visually looks ok for the parts i could see.

With the stock intercooler in the car I will probably take it to the dealership for now and see if they can figure it out.

Keep this updated, it will be interesting to see what is going on. How many miles on the car out of curiosity?

Take it to a performance shop that performs these mods on a regular basis, guarantee your dealer knows dick about a modded car.
