Drove home from the vinyl wrappers and then this...
Got home from somewhere, went inside for 20mins. came back out to head to the car wash and i hear this scrubbing sound. raised the car but keep happening. car got stuck in the middle of the road but i managed to drive it into a side street, ran home, got the jack, jacked up the car and found this. I've contacted bag riders and hopefully they can send a replacement. They are less than 1 year old. fml

Looks like you have the UAS rear kit. I suggest going to a Slam Specialties SS-5 rear bag. They are slightly smaller in diameter and should keep you from rubbing. I have these on my 135i with the UAS rear kit.

Naynay - any ideas how this has happened? Is it a double bellow style bag that you had and in that picture? Sorry to see this nonetheless - hopefully an easy enough fix!

got it fixed the following day. i found a local supplier that sells the RE5 bags. it turns out to be the broken plastic clip holding the brake wear sensor line which was jabbing the bag. i decided to replace both. when i took out the side that was still good, it was 80% on its way to giving way.
