Compatible aftermarket wipers for BMW?

Does anyone know what aftermarket wipers are comparable with the f30/f32? Not talking about size, but attachment. It's not the J hook style, but a squeeze tab.

I was looking at the Bosch Icons, however the F32 is not listed.

Thanks!

I bought the Bosch Aerotwin at Canadian Tire (both wipers included). They are way better than the stock ones. Around $100 I think - not cheap.

Was it a kit built up for your F31, or did they have random sizes that you can make into a kit? I need 24" and 18". The Bosch website does not list any wiper blades to be compatible for my F32.

You do know that you get free replacement wipers during your 4 years of maintenance, right?

Not everyone likes stock. Plus they only do it once a year. I like to replace mine every 6-8 months.

As much as I hate to use them, I've been using the rain-x expert fit ones. They seem to do the trick. I'd use the bosch icons, but I just don't like how the attachment points look on my car.

Seriously? I thought the free maintenance included wipers in all markets. Bummer! Too bad you're not close enough to a US dealership - they'd give you some.

Yeah... We don't get brake pads covered either (which I believe you do in the US).

Let me know how this goes. I don't think they will give them to you though since they may not be able to claim it back from BMWNA.

I didn't know that. My dealer always changes the brake pads on my cars without me even having to ask. Maybe having serviced 10 cars there in the past 15 years has something to do with that...

Without you asking or paying? Pads and wiper inclusive maintenance plan is an extra for us in Canada. I inquired into it and I think it's around 1k for the 4 years.

I realize that, I only have the basic vehicle warranty, not the extra maintenance plan that you mentioned.

The Bosch Aerotwin come in a package of two. Just check at the auto service counter at Canadian Tire and they should be able to bring them up when they search by vehicle. The Icons don't work for the F30/31 unless you have some sort of adapter which I was never able to track down online or in person.

I ended up buying the BMW supers as I was able to get a discount on them.

It's in the regular warranty down here. Rotors too, but the dealers are strict about wear percentages because it's an expensive claim.

There's an art form to wearing your brakes such that you get a total brake replacement just before the warranty expires. I timed it successfully on my 2005 E60 and paid nothing. I didn't on my 2001 E53, the warranty expired, and I paid $1800 6 months later to have the brakes all done.
