I got to see this bimmer on my way to work. Not sure how i feel about the chrome, but if I am not mistaken those should be 162 replicas except 19's and chrome? or maybe even 18's. What are your thoughts? I had 162's before on my x'i and loved the look of them, not so sure why get the chrome replicas., although i must say IMO they don't look aaaall that bad with that color on the car. Still wouldn't do that to mine. Funny thing, i had seen this on the forums before, never in person.

162s came OEM chrome i believe. On a black car with chrome window trim and grills it works for some people. forum guys just seem to hate chrome. to each their own.

Nothing against chrome, in fact (kind of regret it) i took the dip off my grilles recently and left them chrome to match my wheels...although i think i liked them black better.

I don't think they look bad, per se. I'm just not a fan of chrome wheels.

my used SGM came with chrome 162s, actually looked good I thought. I like the silver better, but oh well.

My car was from California.

Yeah i believe they are 18's, i said 19's before because i have heard of 162 style reps that come in 19's. But since those apparently are southern stock, must be 18's then lol

The style 162's were offered in chrome as well as silver in the states. I have seen them many times before in person and IMO they look great!

19" replica style 162's were produced a few years ago.
