Cool Finished the Interior with a V1 Electronic Steering Wheel

This was never in my plans for the car because of the sheer costs involved, but I just couldn't say no to an opportunity to snap this one up at a steal. It's a neat little toy so obviously I had to whore out some photos...

.

The start-up sequence is kinda cool (slowed down a little as it happens rather quickly in real-time) :P

Still waiting to receive the 1x1 twill CF multifunction switch trim, So I guess technically that's when the interior will be finished :P

"Finished". That's a funny way of spelling "just getting started"

Wheel looks great. Wish they were available heated

Having never owned a heated steering wheel, I'm glad I don't know what it's like so it doesn't spoil my perspective lol. Funny enough, these wheels use the E70 heated steering wheel clockspring.

Yup! A friend of mine soldered in white LEDs to the speedometer and tachometer.

Lets just say that if you have the wheel and the heated seats on in the winter, you'll never go back.

CF steering wheel trim installed! Seeing as the wheel is the most focussed part of the interior for the driver, I opted for 1x1 twill weave to differentiate it against the 2x2 weave of the rest of the interior.

Thanks dude. No sir, no fake CF vinyl here. I absolutely HAAAAAATE CF vinyl wrapped anything. Looks horrible compared to the real deal.

This is the OEM BMW Performance carbon trim kit with real CF, clear coat, and perfect weave.
