New Hood and repaired parts.

Finally got my car back from Coleman Autobody. Shout out to Tommy and his awesome service. A month ago I got new MTech bumper that was panted and installed by Tom, later that night someone reversed into me and took about a month for the persons insurance to actually pay me even with driver at full fault according to the cops.

Gave a shout out to tom and had him order a new hood. Decided to go with a carbon fiber hood from Extreme Dimensions; purchased through Extreme Powerhouse for a great price. I've always wanted the vorsteiner power dome hood but they told me they do not make it anymore and the original price was really high anyway. Spotted one by Aerofunctions or Extreme dimensions can't really figure out who makes it lol but was exactly similar to it.

Tom and crew did an awesome job fixing the bumper, painting my OEM grills black and replacing the broken ones (my choice), fixed and painted the intake ducts that were bent, prepped the hood for install (sand and clearcoat) , finally installed the CF lip on the Mtech Bumper. Fitment came out great and looks exactly like I wanted it.

Finally here's a pic of after. Will get more pics when I can on a nicer day since it has been raining all week.

the dome is very subtle which I like. I'll try to get more angles. What was weird and confused me and tom is under the hood is the vorsteiner symbol. Had 1 or 2 tiny imperfections in the weave that are barely seen but overall was awesome quality and less than half the price of was Vorsteiner was selling theirs for. I was planing DD but wasn't looking to wait plus all the negative reviews.

looks great! did you leave any of the cf exposed? (hard to tell with the lighting)

Yea sorry it was so cloudy haha. It's not painted. Just all carbon fiber. Will get better shots on a sunndy day.

Looks great. I've heard of the same thing with Vorsteiner. I think it is a replication thing.

Very subtle! I like it. Contemplating an aftermarket hood myself, but I can't justify the cost for a DD v2 one give their horrible reviews

I was skeptical about getting the hood from a brand I haven't seen much of on these forums. But in the end it came out great and the price was around $700 and change shipped. Fitment came out to be spot on.

Thanks! Yea it was a bit odd but in the end It came out awesome so I am happy haha. I contacted Vorsteiner about the hood and they told me they will add me to the list of people that still want it and will see if they will make it again.

If you zoom in on the last pic, you can see the detail of the CF.

Are you going to keep the CF naked or paint it?

I think you can easily pull off naked CF.

Yup, keeping it carbon fiber. They sanded and clear coated both the lip and hood for a better finish. Looks great together with the mtech bumper. I will try to get some shots in the sun when I can. It looks amazing in person.
