Track Video: 335i E90 LCI at Laguna Seca

My first time at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and it was amazing. Monterey was "hot" that day which was unusal (low 80s and no wind).

Engine temps were getting hot so I had to run the heater for most of the session. Upgraded radiator and oil cooler/s will be my next mod.

Two vantage points, cockpit view and top view. Enjoy!

Man I love Laguna. So jealous. I've never understood the whole celebrity fascination thing, but I imagine the way normal folks feel about seeing a celebrity is about the same way I feel whenever I see a bucket list track like Laguna **giddy and excited!!**. You my friend are a lucky man. I hope to one day get out there too!

That was my first time at Laguna but I'm going back next month. I too can see why there's so much love for Laguna Seca.

Sweet videos. What kind of mount did you use to mount the camera in the cockpit view? Do you have any pics of the set up? For some reason I really like the view as opposed to other cockpit views I've seen.

It's actually just a PVC pipe squeeze between the head rest and seat, held by zip ties. You can slide it in and out and rotate it. Hard to explain but I'll post pics later. Gopro camera view set at medium.

Most of my track days are with NCRC. They have the best prices and the staff and other drivers are cool. I've run with Hooked on Driving (expensive) and Track Masters (when I go to Sonoma Raceway) and they are good too but expensive.

Amazing. I always track with DTC completely off and the rear end is predictable and controllable. I think it's necessary especially if you plan to track a lot.

I'm game! There's actually a lot of bimmers at these events but mostly M3s.
