New owner!!
I am Austin, from Southern KY and a little over a month ago I decided to pick up a new DD. The car I ended up deciding on and landing me here was a 2009 E92 335i with a couple mods and lowish miles. (Previous owner is a member here)
Mods on the car when I got it BMS JB4 tuner + usb cable (I routed through glove box) BMS DCI Custom scoop in the front grill 3m Carbon Fiber wrapped trim Passport 8500ci Plus Radar VRSF catless downpipes 15% tint Alpina Trans flash LUX H8 V4 Angel Eye bulbs Just some quick pics The day I got it home I little later my brother took some pictures Other than clean it up some I hadn't really done anything with it until this past weekend. The middle lower grill had an area where the silver color was coming off and looked horrible. So I had some Black paint laying around and decided to do something about it. Think I will redo it though since it was gloss and satin would look better. Also pulled out the washer fluid reservoir and cleaned it out, had sludge blocking the pump. And back together |

Welcome & sweet car!
I had an 08 335i e92 before I bought my 11 335i. Same color and lip. You will love it. Mike

I am starting to get my own car lot going on, the 335i makes #4.
Other cars in the fleet are: 2000 MR2 Spyder- Currently apart for a turbo install. 1993 Civic Hatch- This car never made it anywhere. Drove it a whopping 3 weeks before it was knocking and has been sitting since. 2005 RSX Type S- Was the previous DD, currently unsure of its fate |

Welcome and congrats on such a beautiful E92. The pics that your brother took look sickkk! Love HDR!
BTW, IMO you should pick up a set of color-matched reflectors. Thanks for sharing

Thanks! It bothers me that the front has more wheel gap than the rear but its just my DD and I like the way it rides. Also don't want to spend the money for good Coilovers. Most I have thought about so far is just lower perches for the front to try and even it out. |

Been a few updates since my last post. I had to pull the front bumper again to replace the lower grills. A small owl flew into the center grill busting it and I think some road debris hit the driver side grill. So I ordered a set of 328 black grills not knowing the passenger side wouldn't work for the oil cooler ducting. Since my factory grill wasn't busted all to crap I just painted it again and painted the 2 new grill pieces so they would all match and installed them. Also stripped and painted the air inlets, they were blue and I painted them red.
Changed out the flat black kidneys for gloss. Changed out the side markers for some smoked LED's I found. Also pulled my drivers door apart because the handle light wasn't working and had bought a replacement. Turns out it was just unplugged. Replaced my center and passenger side air vents due to the adjustment slider missing. Installed an RB PCV valve and BMS OCC. ER charge pipe and Tial BOV is currently in the mail. Think a larger IC which I have no clue on how to pick and maybe a Remus exhaust and I will be done on the performance side. |
