Misfire trouble shooting - JB4

Hi

I went out for some pulls yesterday evening and my car started to misfire on cyl 1 (what it said on my OBD2 reader). Whats the general route to take to solve this? I dont know if my car has ever had new plugs so that might be a first. Any premium plugs you guys can recommend for the N55?

Odd...I'm pushing 22psi+ and haven't had any misfire issues, stock plugs at 25k miles. I will be buying colder plugs here soon tho.

I bought my car second hand and if I know the Chinese right the plugs has not been changed on my car yet - 45000km (28000miles), so its probably about time.

What better than stock are there to get?

Just a hint please don't use OBDII with JB4 unless it's disabled map 0

Had all the plugs changed and in the process we moved the coil to cyl two to test that too.

Problem solved with a sparkplug change!

All the plugs looked like this.

You are probably referring to the post I wrote on N54Tech, but thanks anyway I had been using my OBDlink and JB4 at the same time for +6 months before that post - no issues what so ever and I cannot see the car behaving differently not using it. But better be safe - expensive toys we are playing with.

glad you fixed it, had same issue but very very bad shake and hesitation on normal driving, they were spark too.. yea I've been using obd2 as well but since i read what Terry said, just another ocd after battery rail thing because i almost had a ground short problem and my car is N20 never touched the battery.

Yep sparkplugs after 10-15k miles if using a tune is a must!
