TiAg e90 1M bumper

I finally got this bumper installed after ordering a pre-lci bumper last August. Well this is an LCI bumper, and it was either accept this or nothing. It turned out okay. Thanks to everyone who helped me along the way. I need to find an LCI hood and a solution for the brake ducts.

Let me know if you have any questions and I should be able to help you.

Damn finally W but at least it came through. How was the fitment and work your body shop have to do? Same as what we all had done? Or easier?

FS: Oem E90 LCI hood AW http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1116375

Idk if he'll ship but his hoods in really good condition (local member)

Looks really good, I have a Tiag also with black roof and u gave me a great image of how mine would look with that bumper. Where did you get the bumper and how much of a fitment issue did u have.

Obviously this is the bumper that came from the whole ModMyEuro fiasco. I ended up paying right at $700 for the body work, paint and install. I think Joe paid $600 so that was pretty close considering paint and body work runs higher here in KS.
Fitment actually wasn't that bad. The bumper was deformed at the areas that meet the fender because of how the bumper was shipped The areas around headlight actually fit very well and did not need any modification. The face of the bumper below the headlight was actually pretty wavy so that had to be straightened out. The LCI grills do not fit securely so I will just leave them off until I get a new hood then I will secure them with zip ties or something. The bumper did not for correctly when the supplied brake ducts were installed, so I just left them off. The tow hook cover does not function correctly and I do not have headlight washers so those are just for show. And finally, the primer that came with bumper was complete shit and the paint would not adhere to it correctly. So all of that had to be stripped and new primer applied before paint.
Only things I still have to address are the brake duct areas and getting an LCI hood.

Did you do delete your fog lights? If so, are you planning to keep those holes open or closed?

And damn alright I'm hoping to get my 1M bumper (from Modmyeuro as well) installed + painted for around $500.

Fog lights are deleted and wires are tucked up behind the bumper. I might look into some LED fogs down the road. I am not sure what holes you are talking about.

It seems like all the bumpers fit differently so it will depend on what yours needs. Still cheaper than an LTMW bumper so I am happy.

Yeah mine is from the group buy but it's around 85% fit, how much was yours?

I want to get this bumper so bad. Hopefully after suspension and wheels, this will be my next modification. It really just transforms the front end and makes it look so much more aggressive

Ha-ha, its not my plan to be grill-less. It will just be that way until I get an LCI hood installed.

It's been a while but I finally got my LCI hood installed. 172 style wheels are gone as well.

Looks great! I loved the old wheels though but 162s are nice too.
