2008 335i - 2 miles off the lot
So after an anticipated wait...
She arrived today with only 2 miles on her. Before I even drove her off the lot my first mod was complete with the DINAN re-flash. This thing is sick and that mod was worth every penny. Upcoming Mods: - New shoes - still TBD but leaning towards the BBS RS GT with Falken's - DINAN Exhaust - H & R Sport Springs - Mtech side skirts & rear - OEM Aero lip - B & M Short Shifter - DINAN light weight fly wheel - Blacked kidney grills These pics show the the actual color of the coral red interior. Still much better IRL.

Nice cahh! Glad you already have your mods planned!
Saw some TOOL last night in an AW E92 335 at a stop light...completely stock car with NO mods whatsoever...floored it when light turned green, only to park it on the side of the street about 1/2 block later! Thought he was badass in his UNMODIFIED, completely stock car. Dude obviously has NO clue. |

Replies to all of you questions:
- Options: sport package - I did not want the NAV - crazy as it may sound to some of you but I honestly do not like how the NAV screen sticks up on the dashboard and I found when I test drove one with NAV I found it a little distracting to my driving. I, personally, would have preferred the NAV unit to be recesses into the dash so it did not detract from the dash view. Just my personal feelings. - The DINAN re-flash is worth every single penny - plus knowing there will be ZERO issues with any warranty void offers additional piece of mind - PS this car is wicked fast with that mod...it is unbelievable how much more torque you feel...SICK! I am telling you guys this...my M3 is fast and I have put some coin into that whip...but...hands down...for the money...the DINAN re-flash is the most cost effective BANG FOR YOUR BUCK in performance mods. I drove a non modded 335 on a test drive first and the difference is night and day. If you have the money I strongly recommend it. - No the dealer did not offer the DINAN re-flash as an upgrade option. I am assuming you are referring to having it as an upgrade because you could then residulaize it over the life of the lease. - The BBS Black Diamond's are the ones I am leaning towards - thanks for the suggestion - Nothing beats the 'new car' smell The down side after driving an M3 for the past 4 years lies exclusively with the suspension of the 335. This will be remedied soon with sport springs, front & rear sways, and a more aggressive tire with a wider stance. - And to finally give it that complete sport feel the B & M short shifter will finish off the performance mods. - One final point of consideration - I am going with sport springs only because the sport suspension is high quality and I did not see the point in dropping an additional $1500 to replace quality parts until necessary. - I have already made excellent use of the DCT and burned off a few layers of the stock tires to get a feel for control of the car in power slides. Unreal. Once I tighten the suspension up this car will be ideal.

B & M stated they did have a new sport shifter for the 335i as I, too, had understood they did not. I am actually awaiting specs from B & M right now.
Regarding the reflectors - smoked.
