Don't trust Benjamin Devendorf at Cali Car Wraps! (https://www.facebook.com/Calicarwraps?fref=ts" rel="ugc" target="_blank">http://<a href="https://www.facebook...ps?fref=ts</a>) So After some time, this is what is happening to the wrap on the front bumper! Ben at Cali Car Wraps said he would fix it, he said he had a 2 year warranty now he is denying everything. More info in the comments section. I also asked him to remove my pics from his page he refuses to do so. He does not have rights to use those pictures now.

I just want all of you to know so that he doesn't take advantage of you the way he took advantage of me.

Text messages of how he treats his customers

I gave him a month to try and settle this he refused to warranty his work. His site also claims two year warranty and that was a lie.

The point here isn't the price. I know you get what you pay for and I paid for a warranty according to his site so he should warranty this poor work. Rather than hanging up on a customer every time the customer calls.

The wrap has been on the car roughly one month.

Payment was required up front. I guess I'm too trusting. On the trust front that was a failure on my part.

We discuss the issue in the Bay Area Cars group on Facebook at great length. You can read all about this there.

I just want to warn everyone. I wouldn't want this to happen to my fellow enthusiasts.

"I don't even live there anymore cause me and my girl broke up" Funniest excuse I've heard in a while. Pathetic, very pathetic.

OMG! I would be scared to see what it looks like underneath the bumper based on his shitty cutting skills (hopefully it's all good underneath though).

What a shithead, how can he sit there and say his work is good when the pictures clearly say otherwise.

I used PayPal. And I'm taking him to small claims court. Already spoke with some lawyers who state I have a great case. He also may be committing tax evasion.

Brutal.

By the same token, you should have noticed the simply incorrect grammar/syntax in his advertisement and known something was up.....I have sympathy, though.

Hate seeing this happen to you bud. Thanks for warning the community.

One thing I can't stand is people not keeping their word. His response to the warranty is a complete and utter atrocity. Maybe going public will help him clear this up. How can you advertise warranty then say it's cheap work what do you expect?

The hell is wrong with people

I bet he did the "send it to my as a friend to avoid fee's" line, too.

Best of luck to you, brother. As a consultant and a person who works for themselves, this really bothers me. I /hate/ when a person refuses to stand by work.

Did he really give you your car back with the underside of the main opening unwrapped? And then tore the corners inside your air duct areas? The peeling on the underside is pretty minor compared to that. The lifting happens sometimes, it's easy enough to fix. I had to do that in a couple of spots a few months after my car was wrapped, nothing remotely that bad, but it happened. If they don't use edge sealant, and if they didn't properly stretch the wrap, the vinyl will lift.

I'd be more concerned with the overall crappiness of that wrap. The seams are atrocious and the fact that he couldn't even wrap the curves properly is sad. You can't fix any of that stuff, the bumper really should be rewrapped. If it was just the edge lifting, that's an easy fix.

Seems like he got in over his head and then decided that $1500 wasn't worth the time he was putting in so he rushed it. I've seen plenty of jobs end up like that. You can't rush vinyl wrapping, it's tedious.

If the front bumper looks like that, I'd check the rear bumper since the bumpers are the hardest parts to wrap.

What an asshat, says that he does quality wraps on his facebook profile and then doesn't stand by his words in the text messages. He'll get what he deserves one day. Good luck with your situation op

I know brother. I know. It really saddens me to put this out there but I gave him a month without making this public and he chose to ignore and hang up on me. Its unacceptable.
