E91 335i JB4, Downpipes, Performance Exhaust - driving and sounds :)
Hello again,
made a short video driving around and accelerating in Eastern Finland. The car is E91 335i N54 with 6-speed manual and RWD Mods in the car so far: -Karala ECU tune -JB4 -Burger DCI's -Catless downpipes from German ebay -OEM Performance exhaust with flaps open -30% E85 mixed with euro spec 98 octane The car dynoed 350hp and 520nm before JB4 and downpipes and now the car seems to have much more power. My estimation is over 400hp (crank) and over 600nm (450 lbft). Enjoy |

Great sound! Those catless downpipes add a real rasp to the PE.

Thats true, there is a small hint of E46 M3 in the sound now. The car is very loud when flap is open and especially in cold starts.
Flap closed and warm engine car is relatively quiet in everyday use. |

But thats the compass in the mirror. I have never seen that option in any E9X here in Europe but the original German buyer has ticked that. |

No problems so far with clutch or drivetrain. I think clutch will be the next part to break with this power Waterpump died a month ago, temps got high and the fan was at full speed. Stopped driving and moved the car to garage with the tow truck (or what you call it ). After water pump, thermostat and coolant change the car has worked perfectly! I think some wheel bearings need a change soon but no hurry with them. |
