07 335i e93 Build Progress - Recommendations?

Hey Everyone,

We have had this car about 6 months now. It is a 2007 335i e93 as you can see.

Current list of MODS:

19" Rays ITC Wheels (Looking to switch to Rohana RC22, or some AG's)
CSL Carbon Fiber Trunk
Aero Carbon Fiber Front Lip
Seibon Carbon Fiber Hood
AFE Stage 2 Intake
COBB Accessport V3

Next up is a full wrap in the Limited Edition Avery Giovanna Satin Pearl Cielo Blue. Given we are doing the blue wrap, we want to change the wheels to black.

This leads me to my next question. The Rays ITC won't allow the BMW TPMS Sensor to fit I am told. Do the 19" RC22 allow the TPMS to fit?

Next question, prior to the wrap I would like to change the rear bumper and add a CF diffuser. Any brands to steer clear of? Recommendations?

I like the mods but totally disagree with black wheels. Silver, bronze, chrome, all look way better. Black kills the color and makes it look drab. Black wheels look good on silver, black and red. On blue you may as well be running black steel 15" wheels because they will be just as prominent. Black wheels are a fad like double wings on honda civics.and not a proven classic Like a set of hyper silver BBS LMs. Stick to the proven long term classics. If not, at least pick a color that highlights your blue instead of sucking the life out of it.

Yea I would go gunmetal wheels to pair up with the blue. This M3 might be a bit darker but the wheel finish is perfect for it IMO.

As far as diffusers go, people will tell you to steer clear of Duke dynamics (bummerkit.com) either due to bad fitment or poor service. But I had a great experience with them. I had a perfect fitting diffuser only to be rear ended after one day. I emailed Duke dynamics and they immediately sent out another (it was in stock) and I had it about a week later.

If you don't want to risk Duke dynamics just get the OEM BMW performance diffuser. If you want carbon, they actually have a carbon center piece that is pretty rare to see around here.

Anyway here is the blue/gunmetal combo and my Duke dynamics performance diffuser in 2x2 carbon fiber

As for bumper it's personal preference. stay away from fiberglass ones. Duke has had more bad reviews than good ones. I would determine if you want to stick with stock exhaust tips, larger diameter, or go to quads. this will dictate which diffusers to choose from.

Not my cup but blindsides looks great in gunmetal. titanium, bronze, or black chrome would also work well I'd you wanted darker but something that catches the eye.

I think I will be going with the VMR V803 in the 19x8.5 ET35 and the 19x9.5 ET35 in the Gunmetal color. Should go well with that wrap.

Any reason not to do the Niche Targa over the VMR? Seems like I can get the Targa for about 500 less than the VMR.

Paradise Graphix is doing the wrap. Goes in the 3rd week of May. Talked to Zerolift today about doing the custom tune in the near future.

Nice. Just curious, how much are they charging you for the wrap? (if you dont mind me asking)

TurnIn tuned mine. Happy with the outcome.

Around $1700 for something that looks like this one. That includes doing the interior in Carbon Fiber. Want to be somewhat original, and mine is an e93 so it won't be exact, but similar I guess.

The Cielo Blue is a limited edition color, so I hope that sets its apart.

Since the Hood and Trunk are CF, I don't want to cover them completely is all. My just have the bulge exposed and the spoiler. Have to see once we start it.

Well this is only my opinion. But there's not much I hate more than exposed and unpainted CF hoods and trunks. They need to be painted (or vinyl'd in your case)
