Loud exhaust ticket
I just got a ticket for having loud exhaust on my car and I live in California. The thing is I don't have aftermarket exhaust I just have a muffler delete. What are my chances of fighting this ticket? This is such bs why is there a ticket for loud exhaust? What about the people who have Lamborghini's and Ferrari's? Why don't they get a ticket for loud exhaust?

lmao, damn. Thats the tree hugger state! what did u expect? that blows dude. I dont know about in cali, but here in Texas its a real easy ticket to get out of. They have to have proof that they were a certain distance away, otherwise it will be dismissed.

well in here you can get your license pulled for a sticker, and car impound for exhaust systems whether its straight pipe or different muffler.. our rules aren't straight enough and can go as wide as the officer wants to strech it.

If they had a noise-level meter to read the DB level, you don't have much of a chance. Your state laws may also require your car to have a muffler, so you can get nailed for either "defective/missing equipment" or noise ordinance violation.

Ferrari and Lamborghini exhausts sound fantastic. A car without a muffler...not so much. Hence, the noise pollution ticket in this scenario.
