I recently did a CCC to CIC upgrade on my E92, initially the PDC screen wasn't showing up when i pressed the button and when i engaged the reverse gear.

After some assistance remotely I now have the PDC screen when PDC is engaged however the colour cones that show the distance aren't showing up. It has been suggested to me that I need a new PDC module that is compatible with CIC unit?

Can someone confirm/shed some light on this?

What year is your car?
I have done 40-50 ccc---> cic upgrade and never had this issue on e9x platform.

Things for you to consider;
- update pdc module firmware
- check your emulator if its really compatible with e9x platform

My car is a 2008 e92.

How do I go about checking two things you have noted, is it best to take it to a professional?

sorry to hijack this thread but cant post yet
bought a second hand 330i and the PDC is working intermittently when putting it in reverse.
Checked connections on PDC module, no water ingress and wires seem ok. Reset CCC multiple times, and most imporatantly used INPA to run a PDC test which shows that the idrive visual with the cones and the actual module works!
It seems that when i put it in reverse, the car is not switching on the PDC and the times its displaying it correctly, the screen seems to flicker and doesnt hold.
Could the CCC be on its way out? was planning to upgrade to CIC anyway. Many thanks
