My build thread
Got my 335xi in August last year:
- 2010 E92 335i xDrive - LeMans Blue - Black Dakota sport interior - Sport package - Nav/XM/CA/heated seats/Rear curtain - All around tint So far I only did a few smaller things: - BMS clutch stop - 80w LED Angel Eyes -- Mike@x-ph Still to be installed: - Painted side reflectors - BMS CDV This weekend I finally installed my new coilovers (KWv3). Bought them from Tiage@VRSF - Great Service! On original suspension: Now with coils: Fronts are bottomed out, rears have 1/2" left |

I had KWv3 under my previous car as well but there the difference wasn't as big as it is now. |

Dust this thread of with some updates:
Added in order: - BMS CDV - RBturbo upgrade PCV Valve and cap - JB4 - Injen Twin Intake - Forgestar F14 with Michelin PSS. For these to fit the rear fenders had to be rolled and the car had to be raised. After this I had some vibration and knocking during turning. The passenger side front axle (xDrive) was completely ruined. Also the lower control arms bushings had seen better days. When both were replaced, there was still vibration. This appeared to be the motor mount. When during driving the stock charge pipe broke of, a wrenching weekend was planned to install: - VRSF downpipes - VRSF Chargepipe with Tial bov - RBTurbo silicone inlets. - IS motor mounts - New waterpump and thermostat Car sits now at 81k miles, so should be ready for plenty more. Next on this list is an upgraded FMIC. |
