Mini mods

Dipped my wheels and window trim and installed CF trunk spoiler(high kick) from JBspeed. I'll prolly be removing the plasti dip in my window trim cause while removing the tapes i accidentally chipped it. ill have it vinyl wrapped soon.

And, yes i need coilovers and new summer tires.

wheels turned out great! is that their true metallic gunmetal? Trunk spoiler looks awesome on there. I'd recommend painted from reflectors to get rid of the orange. Car is coming along nicely

Thank you! It's actually their graphite metalizer. I did 5 coats of matte black and 3 coats of graphite metalizer. As for the reflectors, i'd leave it on for now as for im still thinking of getting mtech or m3 rep front bumper.

I'll be the first to admit that I think plasti dip is a shitty alternative to powder coating or upgrading wheels in general, but yours turned out pretty well sir. Did you use glossifier?

I've never seen a result like that "out of the can."

And you're in Jersey... Damn I should pay you to do this to my 18 inch wheels someday

I would've loved to have seen a DIY video.

I might just try this myself sometime soon, as I was considering just getting them done at a body shop in some kind of color but I was torn between gunmetal and black chrome.

Ha! thanks. Actually the window trim job was a lot harder than the wheels cos of the prep work. Gunmetal looks great on black cars. Good luck!

The metalizer is awesome. I did it for my winter wheels when i painted them gold. did 5 coats of gold base and 2 coats of gold metalizer. They turned out awesome. i was really impressed. Im with you, i hated all the matte looking plastidip wheels but i figured id give it a shot with the metalizer.

The wheels came out great. I got a few cans of black dip and grey metalizer to see how I'd like the look of the darker wheels, but they're still sitting in my garage a year later...
