Is my car SGM? Touchup paint issues

I thought my car was SGM, but the touchup paint I got seems way to dark to be it. It's not space grey is it?

Open your hood and take a look at the stick on the bottom side. It will have your paint code number on it. Or you can decode your VIN and it will give you the paint color.

Are you serious, dude? You don't know what color is your car?

FYI, run the VIN code through a decoder or look at the driver's (or passenger's, idk) door jamb.

But, I'm gonna save you time. It's either white and gold or black and blue.

Looks like SGM to me. Here's the VIN decoder to find out. SGM paint code is A22.

Yeah its SGM as in sparkling graphite metallic not space grey metallic. Just check on the hood it should have a sticker with a name of the color or run your vin on a decoder but i'm pretty sure its sparkling graphite A22

Space Gray Metallic is code A52.

Your car looks too dark to be Space Gray Metallic.

It looks like the other SGM...Sparkling Graphite

There is also a B39 Mineral Gray Metallic

Sparkling Graphite Metallic or Space Grey Metallic? As was already mentioned, go by the paint code under your hood.

Yep, just like I thought, it's A22. So.. it's weird that this A22 touchup paint seems so much darker. I know it never matches perfect and paint fades, clear, etc, but this almost seems like a different color and it's direct from the dealer. ..weird

I did find the color lol. I originally was 99% sure it was SGM to begin with, hence why I ordered that touch up paint color A22. Just weird that it seems darker than my paint. I'll have to let it dry and buff to see if it matches any better

SGM-Sparking Graphite Metallic
SG-Space Gray

The car is SGM, no need to discuss more. Tough that the touch up doesn't match well.
White is usually the toughest color to match.
