Tires for Apex 18X10 ET 25

Now that the GB is over for the Apex EC-7's I am debating what size tire to put on the rims.

Do I go square with 275's all around?
What would be the largest rear tire I could fit on those rims?

I am thinking about getting set of the new RS3's due out at the end of April.

Does anyone know if 285's will fit in the front using these rims? Thinking about a 285 square setup.

The E9x offset are different than ours. Also, I don't think the ARC-8 can clear our brakes. I could be wrong on the ARC-8.

ET33 + 10-12mm spacers front + 285/35/18 "should" work. It also depend on tires brand and type, most slicks (like Hoosier) are wider than the size shown. You'll have to dial the spacers just right, especially if you're using K&W CS (they cut way about 8-12mm of room). I know for sure the E9x guys can run 285 with slight rubbing on the plastic shroud.

If I were you, I would go to the local tire shop and get test fitted before buying the tires.

I was wondering about that -- didn't realize he was in an e9x car (on my phone i can't see sigs or the info on the left). I know I had heard the arc-8 doesn't work so thought that was getting de-bunked... guess not! thanks for pointing that out.

Correct fellas. I assumed the thread intent was just what rubber was being used on that particular wheel. My offsets, spacers, suspension (I'm on clubsport) will all be different. Good luck!

I was looking for info specific to the F80.

I am going to start with a 275/35/18 square setup. I can confirm the Arc-8's will not work with the F80. I got an email stating that from the manufacturer.
