Is this real? E92 BMW M3s, 1-Series and others destroyed in tipped cargo ship
A tipped cargo shipped at port in Jersey City caused serious damage for over 370 BMW North America cars. 70 of which were completely written off. Unfortunately. a majority were apparently E92 M3s. There were some 1-series, 3-series and others among the carnage.
The cars that weren’t totaled will be repaired at the BMW Elizabeth Receiving facility and will be sold as new. Others will be sent to the crusher. The shipping company’s insurance company will allegedly be paying the tab. If you have an M3 on order, you might want to look into whether your car was totalled http://www.egmcartech.com/2008/01/14...ed-cargo-ship/

^Nahhh, it's just part of JJ Abrams' marketing ploy for the movie Cloverfield.
